Charlie (Nicolas Cage) finds himself unable to pay a tip one day. He promises sweet but harassed waitress Yvonne (Bridget Fonda) that if his lottery ticket wins, he will split the proceeds with her. Sure enough, Charlie does win to the tune of $4 million.
