Ringo Lam's first American film sees Alain Moreau (Jean-Claude Van Damme) investigating the death of his identical twin brother. Moreau travels from France to New York and soon becomes involved with his brother's girlfriend (Natasha Henstridge). Pursued by Russian mobsters and renegade FBI agents, it's a race against time for the duo to solve the murder and expose an international conspiracy.
