Wonderful movie and a great actress

For every person who has had to gut ignorant, aggressive, abusive or violent buffoons in their life, but for whatever reason, chose to maintain their cool and regard their antagonist with manners instead of violence, will sympathize with Miss Meadow's dream of a more emotionally civilized world.

Blends black comedy, character study and thriller elements into a mixture that doesn't quite gel, though it's watchable enough.

Despite an eccentric streak (which turns erratic), the script doesn't allow much room for the premise to take flight.

It's so relentlessly upbeat and deliberately artificial that it admits no cynicism or judgment, and it makes the film daringly weird.
