Morning Light

Clean-cut Disney documentary following the fortunes of 15 young and good looking sailors, plucked from their ordinary lives to train and compete in grueling open-ocean sailing competition the TRANSPAC. For all those involved it was their first real grown up adventure – and given that it involved a highly dangerous 2,300 mile race from LA to Hawaii against some of the best sailors in the world, while being filmed for an international film release, you’d imagine it will turn out to be their biggest too. Expect a sort of MTV Real World at sea.

The film has been directed and edited by Mark Monroe and Paul Crowder, known for their work on surfing doc Riding Giants and recent doco Amazing Journey: The Story Of The Who.
