Red Rocket
A washed-up adult film star returns to his small hometown in Texas where no-one welcomes his return in this comedic A24 reunion tale from Sean Baker (Tangerine, The Florida Project). Nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes 2021.
Mikey Saber returns to his native town of Texas after years of a porn star career in LA. He is not really welcome there. Without money, without a job, he must return to live with his ex-wife and his mother-in-law. To pay her rent, he resumes his little schemes but a meeting will give him hope and a new beginning.
