Rosemary's Baby
Roman Polanski’s brilliant, classic 1968 suspense thriller starring Mia Farrow as Rosemary. After moving into a new New York house, she becomes pregnant under strange circumstances and grows increasingly paranoid about the presence of evil. John Cassavetes plays Rosemary's husband, an actor, while Ruth Gordon (in an Oscar winning performance) and Sidney Blackmer play her disturbing, meddling neighbours.
This was Polanski's first American film.

pressMia Farrow excels as the pretty young thing who suspects she's carrying the spawn of Satan, but it's Polanski who emerges as the real star.

pressIt is a creepy film and a crawly film, and a film filled with things that go bump in the night. It is very good.
