Selfless
Ben Kingsley stars in this sci-fi thriller as a wealthy man dying of cancer. In an effort to save himself, he puts his life in the hands of an experimental scientist (Matthew Goode, Stoker) who transfers his consciousness to a younger, healthier body (Ryan Reynolds). However, this method of immortality bears heavy consequences when the origin of this new body comes to light. Helmed by Tarsem Singh, director of 2011’s The Immortals (go figure).

Two Animals, a Guy and a Severed Head
Self/Less Ryan Reynolds and Ben Kingsley in the same movie! Wow, it’s like ‘Heat’ (1995) with this calibre of actors. Of corse it was another adaptation of the book Prince and the Pauper, but still a wonderful growth for the main character. Like a cross between ‘Transcendence’ and ‘The Change-Up’ (not the greatest movie references here but you get the...
Selfless, more like pointless....

While it was good to see Ryan Reynolds try out a new character, his quick witted sense of humor was...
