Sex Tape

Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz are a married couple who wake up to discover the sex tape they made the evening before, due to a technical quirk, has been shared amongst their family and friends. From the director of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.

After ten years of marriage and two kids, Jay (Segel) and Annie's (Diaz) love life needs a kick-start. To spice things up, Annie suggests they make a video of themselves trying out every position in The Joy of Sex in one marathon three-hour session (coincidentally, the length of the movie Lincoln). It seems like a good idea - until they discover that their most private video is no longer private. The culprit? Cloud computing.

An unaccountable drag - strained, toothless and far too tame to achieve the sort of outrageous, raunchy-titillating effect it's aiming for.

A tired premise and a sheen of desperate flop sweat tanks this DOA comedy.

While often quite funny, it fails to qualify as a comedy is the absence of any real conflict or complication.

It's fitfully funny and exuberantly eager to please... however, it remains a comedy of blushes as opposed to full-blown embarrassment.

A case study in how little interest American movies—and especially American sex comedies—have in dealing with sex as anything other than a source of cheap giggles and nonstop humiliation.

Diaz and Segel can't save this ineptly directed, preposterously plotted raunchfest.

Aspires to surf the same big, broad waves of blue laughter as a Bridesmaids or a Knocked Up, but never catches a ride for too long.

I've always liked Jason Segel, but this movie wasn't my favorite performance. It felt a bit forced.

I was hoping for a lot more from this film but it didn't deliver. You can't call something 'sex tape' and then make a film that doesn't show some action. If I had gone to see this at the movies I would have wanted my money back but it's not like I'm going to harass apple for my $5. Chalk it up to a bad move and move on.

I watched this with my sister and her husband and it was a bit awkward I should have known from the name of the film 'do not watch with family' but sometimes I am not the best thinker! Apart from the fact it was awkward we did not laugh much either. But it was ok for a night on the couch thinking about your sister making a sex tape lol

Generic comedy, found myself laughing out loud throughout the film! Not too much to it, but an easy watch that will keep you entertained for sure

Fairly formulaic and I think I may have laughed out loud...two times? Exactly the same places I laughed in the trailer too.
