The middle ground between light and shadow

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call "The Twilight Zone".
Sorry! Couldn't resist! The reason I mention the Twilight Zone is that one episode dealt pretty much with exactly the same ideas as expressed in this movie. Whether it was an adaptation of Philip K. Dick's short story I don't know but it involved a man who slipped into the moments between moments and discovered who it was that made thingss - reality - happen. Fascinating but you need a strong belief in fate to take it seriously. It could have been a premise for an Eric Sykes comedy, like the Plank. Still, this does look intriguing...
