[A] gutter ball of a sophomoric, white middle-age male sex farce fantasy that quickly wears out an already tenuous welcome.
Full reviewJohn Turturro writes, directs and reprises his "roll" as notorious bowler Jesus Quintana from Coen brothers classic The Big Lebowski. Co-stars Bobby Cannavale (The Irishman), Audrey Tautou (Amélie), Jon Hamm (Baby Driver) and Oscar-winning great Susan Sarandon.
Hours after being released from prison, Jesus reunites with his best friend Petey (Cannavale) and hit the road for a no-holds-barred joyride in a stolen car. When the car’s gun-toting owner (Hamm) catches up with them, they flee the scene with free-spirited shampooist Marie (Tautou) and continue their epic petty-crime spree and a three-way romance.

Full reviewThough Turturro turned this small part into a memorable character for the Coens, Quintana is not so reliably funny here, especially headlining a whole movie of very intermittent charm.
