Ethan Hawke and Paul Giamatti star in the tense sports drama. A Major League rookie (Johnny Simmons) loses control over his pitch and is sent to the minor leagues. There he begins sessions with an sports psychologist (Giamatti), where hidden conflicts with his overbearing father (Hawke) are brought to light.
