Meryl Streep, James Corden and Nicole Kidman star in Ryan Murphy's musical comedy about a troupe of self-obsessed - and down-and-out - musical theater stars trying to revive their careers by getting involved in the LGBTQ+ movement.

A two-time Tony Award winner (Streep) works with Barry Glickman (Corden) on a musical about Eleanour Roosevelt that fails miserably, landing them with the worst reviews of their career. Eager to redeem themselves, they decide to get behind a noble cause - and they find one in Emma Nolan (Jo Ellen Pellman), a high school senior barred from attending the prom with her girlfriend. So along with Broadway veteran chorus girl Angie Dickson (Nicole Kidman) and an out of luck actor (Andrew Rannells, The Intern), the team rushes to small-town Indiana to help out.
