
The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974)
Four hijackers take over a New York subway train and demand a million-dollar ransom in this 1974 crime classic. While their request is straightforward, their escape plan remains elusive. Stars the great Walter Matthau as the police lieutenant in charge with remaining in phone contact with the criminals. Fellow Oscar veterans Robert Shaw and Martin Balsam also star.
