The Town that Dreaded Sundown (2014)

The screenwriter of 2013's Carrie and the director of TV's American Horror Story revisit Charles B. Pierce's 1976 murderous creation, the Phantom Killer. This low budget production, attempts to recreate the original's cinéma vérité style.

Like the original, the story is based on the real life moonlight murders - an unsolved killing spree that took place in Texarkana, USA, 1946. This is set 65 years later, where the killer - or a potential copycat - is bringing terror back to the small town.
