Find out how you can watch this year’s Oscars (after critiquing outfits you could never afford on the red carpet, of course).
Kiwis will be able to watch the 94th Academy Awards live and for free on Monday 28 March (NZ time). TVNZ is screening the Oscars again this year on TVNZ2. Red carpet coverage begins in the morning, followed by the 94th Annual Academy Awards ceremony from 1pm. The awards will also be available delayed via TVNZ OnDemand.
Returning to the Dolby Theatre this year, the ceremony will buck the trend of recent, host-less Oscars. But wait for it—possibly making up for lost time, there will be not one, not two, but three hosts, each tackling an hour of the show. Let the jockeying for position begin—with Best Picture to announce, not all co-hosts will be created equal.
UPDATE: Variety reports Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes are finalising details to host this year’s Academy Awards.
