Show Me Shorts seeking out interns and music videos for 2014

The Academy Awards accredited film festival Show Me Shorts, run by some hard-working quality folk, is looking to expand its territories this year. Firstly, the festival is adding a new competitive category for music videos.

Festival Director Gina Dellabarca says, “After many years of explaining to music video makers that they could enter Show Me Shorts, but were unlikely to be selected for screening, we have decided to give them their own entry category and award. Music video makers create some of the most unique and exciting work I have seen. Show Me Shorts wants to celebrate this, by acknowledging excellence in filmmaking as with our other awards.”

Secondly, Show Me Shorts is on the hunt for two film-loving intern.

Reporting to the Festival Coordinator and the Festival Director, the Show Me Shorts Intern 2014 will be a bright, proactive and film-loving member of our team. They will be organised, punctual, resourceful, energetic, keen to learn, undaunted by repetitive low-level administrative tasks, calm in a crisis and have a passion for colour-coded spreadsheets. Help our team of dedicated volunteers to run New Zealand’s major short film festival!
