Win double passes to see Tilda Swinton in woozy film fest hit Memoria

After wowing audiences at NZIFF and In The Shade, more people can see Memoria – some of you for free!

After wowing audiences at NZIFF and In The Shade, more people now get the chance to see Memoria – some of you for free!

An obsession with strange sounds causes a woman (Tilda Swinton) to think about their appearance in the latest film from Apichatpong Weerasethakul, writer-director of the Palme d’Or-winning Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives.

You will be able to tell whether or not this is a bit of you from Aaron Yap’s mini-review, written after seeing Memoria at NZIFF last year:

“More dream-weaving mastery from sleep cinema shaman Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Tilda drifts through Bogota, baffled by strange sounds while shopping for plant refrigeration and bonding with an off-the-grid fish-scaler. A serene, liminal third-eye hum, charged with spacious, somnambulant frequencies and (un)earthly vibrations. Best unorthodox ghost story since Personal Shopper.”
