Bates is still running his motel, but one day, a journalist turns up to ask him questions about his past.

Susan Sarandon stars in an Oscar-winning performance opposite Sean Penn in this 1995 crime drama, following a nun who comforts both the convicted killer and the victim’s family during the countdown to the execution. Directed by actor Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption).
