Vigil: Season 1

A mysterious death aboard the nuclear-armed submarine HMS Vigil sees a police detective join the crew to investigate in this six-part series from the same production company as Line of Duty and Bodyguard.

Detective Chief Inspector Amy Silva (Suranne Jones, Doctor Foster) is choppered aboard a submarine after the death of one of its crew. Part of the UK's nuclear deterrent, HMS Vigil must stay concealed while Silva gets to the bottom of this complex case unfolding beneath the waves. As connections to the unexplained disapperance of a Scottish fishing trawler grow, Silva's shoreside police colleagues (including Game of Thrones' Rose Leslie) find themselves in conflict with the Navy and British security services quicker than you can say "conspiracy!".
