Jennifer Lawrence and Andrew Barth Feldman tell us about new comedy No Hard Feelings

Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence leads new R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings. Desperate for money, she agrees to “date” the introverted 19-year-old son of wealthy parents—unaware of how difficult the task will be. Steve Newall talks with Lawrence and co-star Andrew Barth Feldman via Zoom.

It’s astonishing given how funny Jennifer Lawrence is, that the actor has never starred in an out-and-out comedy film. We’ve seen her comic flourishes, but generally in hyphenates—the likes of comedy-dramas. That all changes with No Hard Feelings.

As Lawrence’s character Maddie struggles to make ends meet as her seaside town gentrifies around her, she accepts an unusual offer from the parents of a 19-year-old—”date” him before he heads off to college, to help get him out of his shell.

We found out more in a chat with Lawrence and her co-star Andrew Barth Feldman:
