Regina Hall leads this horror centred on Black women who strive to find their place at an elite New England university. Navigating politics and privilege, they encounter increasingly terrifying manifestations of the school's haunted past… and present. More

Newly appointed dean of students - or "Master" - Gail Bishop (Hall) is in the process of moving into her quarters at prestigious Massachusetts college Ancaster at the same time a new batch of freshman is being intiated. Among them is Jasmine (Zoe Renee), who finds herself assigned to a room with a macabre history. As both Jasmine and Gail uncover a grim past under Ancaster's veneer,  they're challenged by horrors of both the occult and systemically racist kinds.
