Schapelle
Made-for-TV movie portraying the high profile case of Schapelle Corby (played by Krew Boylan) - the Australian woman who was caught with four kilograms of weed at Bali airport, convicted of drug smuggling and imprisoned in 2005 for nine years.
Much of the screenplay is based on Eamonn Duff's controversial book Sins Of My Father, which was found to be in breach of copyright and from which some defamation cases are ongoing. The film has been condemned by Corby's supporters as a smear campaign. Schapelle aired on Australian television a week before Corby's release from a Balinese prison in February 2014.

pressNine’s telemovie strips story of its most compelling elements – and turns a fine cast into Corby family impersonators at a crime-scene re-enactment.

Sydney Morning Herald
pressA more nuanced, honest and empathetic picture of this young woman we think we know than we had ever encountered in a decade of obsessive watching of the real thing.
