Documentary showing the new challenges facing the long-running campaign to save the dwindling mountain gorillas of the Congo. With civil war having reared its head once more, and a struggle for the country’s rich natural resources underway, a small team of courageous park rangers – among them a former child soldier, a carer for orphan gorillas and a conservationist from Belgium – do their best to protect the home of the mountain gorilla from the forces of greed and violence.
