Nine Perfect Strangers: Season 2
What is Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 about?
Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, Nine Perfect Strangers season 1 saw the titular disparate group gather at Tranquilium House, a Californian wellness retreat run by the enigmatic and steely guru, Masha Dmitrichenko (Nicole Kidman). They aim to find their inner truths, she aims to help that along with the careful application of psilocybin and LSD (look, you could do worse). As you might expect, a lot of old secrets get dragged screaming to the surface, and things get weird.
This season sees a whole new cast of strangers, with Masha now operating in the Austrian Alps. Her methods are presumably as unorthodox as ever.

Why we’re excited about Nine Perfect Strangers season 2
Well, we have to assume they’ve run out of books by this stage, so we’ll admit to being curious. Can Nine Perfect Strangers thrive as an anthology series in the vein of The White Lotus? Or do the relatively narrow constraints of the basic idea mean it’ll run out of steam before too long? Guess we’ll have to take the trip to see.
