What would the Muppets be without their marvellous musical interludes? The all-singing, all-dancing troupe of felt-covered entertainers have been leaving their legacy for over 50 years (if you count the early TV incarnations), and here are some of our favourite musical moments. The Muppets is now playing in cinemas nationwide.

5. Rolf and Sam Eagle

Everyone’s favourite humourless Republican, Sam Eagle, teams up with good-natured ivory-tinkler Rolf to perform a Gilbert and Sullivan number…

6. Miss Piggy’s Fantasy

From The Great Muppet Caper comes the definitive moment for the Muppets’ most self-indulgent, self-obsessed, powdered-snouted member, Miss Piggy.
