A true story about a Polish family who spent several years in the Warsaw ghetto. The film follows young Nina as she comes of age under these extreme circumstances. She goes to parties, graduates high school, and falls in love – all within the bounds of the ghetto. She would almost be living the life of a normal teenager, if those around her weren’t all vanishing one by one. The real Nina Einhorn narrates the film.
