Life in a home for the elderly is given a new look in this animated drama from Spain, redubbed in English with a voice cast led by Martin Sheen. Based on the award-winning comic by Paco Roca.
The film follows new arrival Emilio who, struck with an early on-set of Alzheimer’s, is at risk of being doomed to the top floor of the facility – AKA the “lost causes” floor. But with the help of a new pal Miguel and other friendly faces, a sneaky plan is concocted to keep Emilio from ever reaching that stage.
