What is Will Trent season 3 about?
Already the star of a dozen novels, kicking off in 2006 with Tryptych, Will Trent leaped to the small screen in 2023. You know the drill: he’s an unorthodox investigator with a raft of quirky traits (he’s dyslexic! He grew up in foster care! He takes care of his dead neighbour’s chihuahua!) but he gets results. This season opens about six months after season 2’s rug-pull ending, with Trent now a private investigator in Tennessee, having bailed on Atlanta after having love interest Detective Angie Polaski arrested for messing with evidence. A request from the chief suspect in an open and shut murder case brings him back, though, and then we’re off and running.

Why we’re excited about Will Trent season 3
Everything I’ve learned about Will Trent I’ve learned in the last 10 minutes. I don’t know…seems fine? Pretty standard police procedural fare, probably closer to Bosch than Reacher, tonally speaking. You already know if you’ll like it.
