Series creator Glen Dolman and his writing team probe the varied terrain of religion, exploitation, the question of who gets to share in a rare and precious resource, and what its pursuit does to people and their relationships. There's a lot going on. Yes, it takes a leap of faith to accept the central premise of Bloom. But doing so bears fruit aplenty.
