2014 BAFTA Nominations Announced

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts have announced their 2014 nominations today. It follows the Golden Globe noms last month and a trickling of early awards season winners.

Space thriller Gravity leads the pack with 11 nominations, followed by American Hustle and 12 Years a Slave with 10 a pop, and Captain Phillips with 9. The BAFTAs will be handed out in London on February 16, in a ceremony hosted by Stephen Fry.
