NZ box office report: Demon Slayer beats Downton Abbey to #1
Our weekly guide to what’s happening at the Aotearoa box office.

Box office updates thanks to Numero.
Mirroring its release pretty much everywhere, anime sequel/film spinoff Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle raced to the top of the box office. It outpaced a very different flavour of small to big screen franchise extension in second-placed Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. The Conjuring: Last Rites scared up a few more ticket sales in its second week of release, in third spot and ahead of The Roses.
