NZ box office report: Now You See Me… now you did
Our weekly guide to what’s happening at the Aotearoa box office.

Box office updates thanks to Numero.
Back for a third helping of box office magic, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t makes bank while finally making good on the punny potential of its title (this is what the second film shoulda been called though, really). Predator: Badlands just beat Edgar Wright’s new take on The Running Man by a nose as the two action sci-fi pics dueled for second place, while Aotearoa true story Pike River is only just off the pace in fourth spot.
