2014 NZ Motion Picture Awards winners

Here at Flicks we’re proud as punch to have been involved with the NZ Motion Picture Industry Council awards again this year. At an enjoyable awards dinner at Wellington’s Embassy Theatre, a number of professional awards were presented to proud recipients from throughout the industry, including Moodabe Lifetime Achievement Award winner Christine Massey. As Flicks had collected entries for the public-voted categories, we were on hand to present awards to the Independent Cinema of the Year, Chain Cinema of the Year, and Movie of the Year – which you can probably tell from the image above, went to 12 Years A Slave.
