News: Franco to direct ‘The Room’ biopic, first still from Roger Donaldson’s latest and more

The beautifully polished turd that is Tommy Wiseau’s The Room, infamously regarded as the worst movie ever made (here’s proof), is being extensively explored by James Franco. Deadline reports that Franco will direct and co-produce a feature adaptation of ‘The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room’ from actor Greg Sestero (Mark) and journalist Tom Bissell, a “laugh-out-loud account” of how Wiseau made what Entertainment Weekly called the “Citizen Kane of terrible movies.”

Whoever’s going to be in the role of Wiseau might need a quality acting coach. Fortunately…

 


Fox Thinks ‘The LEGO Movie’ is Not Awesome

Though the wait for The LEGO Movie is made all the more agonising thanks to its overseas critical reception, at least we can have a giggle at some of the more obscure reactions. Above is a video of Fox business analyst Paul Dergarabedian on how The LEGO Movie is the latest example of “Hollywood’s anti-business agenda.”
