Also in this year’s selections are spotlights New York On Screen (Taxi Driver, Sweet Smell of Success, The Naked City), Japanese Classics (Tokyo Drifter, Pigs and Battleships), Australian Cinema (Celia, The Big Steal and the aforementioned My Brilliant Career), German Cinema (B-Movie: Lust and Sound in West Berlin, The Meaning of Hitler, Girls/Museum), Contemporary World Cinema (Girlhood, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, The Wild Goose Lake, Never Gonna Snow Again) and more.

We’re also stoked to see classics like Sleeping Dogs, The African Queen, 1947’s Nightmare Alley and David Cronenberg’s Crash making welcome appearances on the big screen.
